What Happens When You Follow the Idea?

Celebrating One Year of Stethoscopes and Strollers

One year ago, I launched a podcast.
No big team. No fancy production. Just a deep desire to speak to the Physician moms I work with, coach, and care about.

I had the idea.
I acted on it.
And now — Stethoscopes and Strollers is a top 5% podcast in the world.

Let that sink in.

This Didn’t Start Perfectly. It Started on Purpose.

I had been coaching for a few months and mentioned the podcast idea to one of my coaches. She said, “Not now — but think about it.”

What she didn’t know was that I had already been thinking about it.
Because I had a lot to say.
Because I wanted a place where my voice wouldn’t disappear into an algorithm.

I remembered what Dr. Una taught me:
“You need an HQ — a headquarters for your voice.”

Social media isn’t it.
You don’t own it.
It can disappear tomorrow.

So I created this. And I did it fast — six weeks from idea to launch.
Because when something feels aligned, that’s all the clarity I need.

I Made It My Own — And That’s Why It Works

This podcast doesn’t follow the rules.
Some episodes are five minutes.
Some weeks, you get two.
Sometimes I shift the schedule, the format, the structure — because it’s mine.

That freedom was intentional.
That flow was baked in.
And that’s what’s made it sustainable.

This Is About More Than Content — It’s About Connection

Every message I get…
Every time someone says, “I shared this in my group chat”…
Every review, every rating, every download…

It matters.

Because this podcast isn’t just about me.
It’s about us — Physician moms who want more ease, more peace, more presence.
It’s for the ones who are ready to choose themselves and live the life they imagined when they finally got that MD.

What You Can Do To Celebrate

If this podcast has ever made you feel seen — I have a request.

🎧 Leave a 5-star review on Apple Podcasts.
💬 Write a few words about why it matters to you.
📲 Share it with a fellow Physician mom who needs it.

These little actions make it possible for other women — the ones feeling burned out, resentful, stuck — to find their way here too.

You’re Not Just a Listener — You’re Part of the Movement

This podcast didn’t happen because I had the perfect plan.
It happened because I decided.
And now it’s helping Physician moms decide — to choose themselves, to get support, to dream bigger, and act boldly.

If you’ve got something tugging at you… a quiet idea you keep pushing down…

Let this episode be proof that acting on it is always worth it.
